MILWAUKEE — Milwaukee County Executive David Crowley has re-entered the race for Wisconsin Governor.
Crowley has been endorsed by current Governor Tony Evers.
In a campaign rally Saturday, Crowley was also backed by the mayors of Milwaukee, Waukesha, and Sheboygan, as well as the President of the Professional Fire Fighters of Wisconsin.
“This election is too important to gamble on. That’s why today I am reentering this race,” says Crowley.

The move comes after Lt. Governor Sara Rodriguez dropped out due to her campaign manager’s mishandling of funds.
The primaries are August 11, with five democratic candidates running: Crowley, Kelda Roys, Francesca Hong, Mandela Barnes, and Joel Brennan.
