MILWAUKEE— Milwaukee Police are investigating three unrelated incidents that left two people dead and two others injured early Sunday morning.
Fatal Shooting- 52nd and Meinecke
Around 2:30 a.m., officers responded near 52nd St and Meinecke Avenue for a shooting. A 32-year-old man was found with fatal gunshot wounds and died a the scene. Police say the circumstances leading up to the shooting remain under investigation, and they are searching for unknown suspects.
Double Non-Fatal Shooting- 53rd and Green Tree
About an hour earlier, around 1:10 a.m., police were called near 53rd and Green Tree Road for a double shooting. A 17-year-old and an 18-year-old were taken to a local hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. Investigators are still working to determine what led to the gunfire and no suspects have been found.
Deadly Physical Attack
Just after midnight, officers responded near 11th St and Locust St after 47-year-old man was taken to a hospital by an associate. Police say he suffered multiple blows to the head during a physical altercation and later died from his injuries. Detectives are still investigating the circumstances of the attack and seeking those involved.
