UPDATE 10/28/25 9:20 a.m. — The Milwaukee County Medical Examiner’s Office identified the victim as 54-year-old Malcolm Malone Sr. of Wauwatosa.
The Medical Examiner is not sure if he had a medical emergency prior to the crash.
MILWAUKEE — One person is dead after an overnight car crash in Milwaukee’s Midtown neighborhood.
It happened around 1 a.m. Tuesday near 28th and Lisbon, according to Milwaukee police.
Police say a car was heading east when it veered into oncoming traffic and crashed into a building.
The 54-year-old driver died at the scene.
The crash is still under investigation.
