MILWAUKEE — The Milwaukee Brewers are looking to sweep the Cubs in the National League Division Series, and providing fans different ways to still join the party as the team heads to Chicago for Game 3.
Brewers President of Business Operations Rick Schlesinger told Wisconsin Midday News on October 3 about the plans for both the “Brewers Express” and a watch party at Davidson Park.
For fans who want to travel to the Windy City to cheer on the Brewers, the team is partnering with Amtrak for the “Brewers Express”. Amtrak Hiawatha Train 332 will depart from the Milwaukee Intermodal Station (433 W. St. Paul Avenue) at 8:05 a.m. on Wednesday, October 8.
Fans can expect appearances from the Famous Racing Sausages®, the Brewers 4-1-Force, and the Brew Crew along with Brewers giveaways, bratwursts to the first 300 train-riding fans, and a DJ to keep the crowd entertained as they wait to board the southbound train.
The second stop on the “Brewers Express” will be at the Milwaukee Airport Railroad Station (5601 S. 6th Street), where the train will pick up Bernie Brewer and Barrelman along with more Brewers fans, before heading to Chicago’s Union Station with its normally planned stops along the way.
Each car of the “Brewers Express” train will be decorated in Brewers blue and yellow.
Fans will book their train tickets at AmtrakHiawatha.com. Fans will still need a game ticket to enter Wrigley Field, with first pitch set for 4:08 p.m. for Game 3 of the NLDS.
For fans who can’t catch the train, the Brewers will host an outdoor watch party at Davidson Park (3725 W. Juneau Ave.) on the Harley-Davidson campus.

Fans will enjoy a giant 135-inch TV screen for live game viewing, local food trucks and vendors, tailgate games, a live DJ and appearances from Bernie Brewer, Barrelman and the Famous Racing Sausages®.
The event is free and open to the public, with the Brewers recommending fans arrive at 3:00 p.m. ahead of first pitch.
