MILWAUKEE – Hundreds of community members and local officials gathered Friday morning in the King Park neighborhood to officially open the Marcia P. Coggs Health and Human Services Center.
The new facility is located at 1230 W. Cherry Street, just west of downtown Milwaukee.

“As we open these doors, we are opening access,” said Milwaukee Mayor Cavalier Johnson. “Access to housing support, behavioral health care, child and family services, crisis response, veteran services and more. This is for residents all across the city and all across Milwaukee County.”

The building will also be home to a new location for NourishMKE, Milwaukee’s largest network of community food centers.
After the ribbon-cutting ceremony, the site hosted a community resource fair featuring dozens of agencies with resources from Milwaukee County and other organizations.
