Thanksgiving is often thought of as the unofficial start of the holiday shopping season.
As the coronavirus pandemic continues, an extra emphasis is being put on shopping local this year.
“For some, it’s make or break.” Pat Miller, The Idea Coach at Small Step Solutions, tells Wisconsin’s Morning News. “When you go online and order something, please order it from a local small business.”
One local small business owner told Miller these words- “Every time you buy an item online from a big online retailer, you might save a few dollars, but you cut an hour off my store’s life.”
“Small business owners are your neighbors and your friends. It really will matter this holiday season,” adds Miller.
Don’t forget that this Saturday is Small Business Saturday.
