Milwaukee Police have identified a suspect wanted for injuring an officer during the unrest that took place near 40th and Lloyd back on June 23.
Police say the person punched a uniformed officer with his fist.
The suspect is described as an African-American male between the ages of 16 and 22. He was seen wearing a black cap, a black Nike hooded sweatshirt with a white diamond-like image on the front, black shorts with a white outline on the bottom and black flip flops.
Police have also released video from the scene that identifies multiple people that entered a home that was set on fire. The department says the home was secured and locked after their investigation, but several people were able to get inside and threw items out windows. Suspect also entered the homeowner’s vehicle before it was set on fire. (Link to video in tweet below)
