Yet another annual event in Milwaukee has been canceled due to the coronavirus pandemic.
The Milwaukee Air and Water Show is canceling the 2020 event, organizers announced Friday. It was scheduled for July 25-26 along the city’s lakefront.
After much deliberation, we have made the difficult decision to postpone the Milwaukee Air & Water Show until 2021. Thank you, Milwaukee, for your support of the Armed Forces and our show; we can’t wait to see you next year!#MKEAirWaterShow #Milwaukee #Airshow #ArmedForces # pic.twitter.com/yBa0sC3Vyx

“The rare and exceptional opportunity to host the Navy Blue Angels made this a very tough but necessary decision to make,” Milwaukee Air & Water Show President Paul Rogers said in a statement. “The only responsible option was to cancel this year’s event.”
“Together, we can come back stronger, safer and ready for the 2021 Milwaukee Air & Water Show, and create a memorable world class event,” he adds.
