Marty Schreiber was Wisconsin’s Governor from 1977 to 1979, but it’s his recent calling that has brought him much attention.
Schreiber wrote the book My Two Elaines, the story of he and his wife who was diagnosed with Alzheimer’s disease over a decade ago.
For the time being, Schreiber is unable to visit his wife in her nursing home, something he normally does every day. He joined John Mercure on Wisconsin’s Afternoon News Monday. Listen to their conversation above.
