Update: 10:19 a.m.
Sometimes, Mother Nature decides she wants to change her mind. So it is with the forecast models for the upcoming snow coming this week.
Maybe not so much of a storm, says WTMJ Storm Team Meteorologist Brian Niznansky. Just a couple inches in certain areas, with more to the south.
Update: 8:53 a.m.
The counties and timing of the Winter Storm Watch have changed.
The watch has been issued for Milwaukee, Waukesha, Kenosha, Ozaukee, Racine and Walworth Counties from noon Tuesday until 3 p.m. Wednesday.
The biggest question: Will there be school for the kids?
“Is school going to be cancelled? Probably not,” said WTMJ Storm Team Meterologist Brian Niznansky.
“However, I do think Tuesday night into Wednesday morning timing, if that pans out with the heavier stuff, it’s certainly possible…far from a guarantee.”

Original story
Meteorological winter may be coming to an end in a week, but winter weather is expected to make in impact over the next several days.
The National Weather Service has issued a Winter Storm Watch for all of southeast Wisconsin. It runs as follows:
From noon Tuesday to 3 p.m. Wednesday: Kenosha, Milwaukee, Racine, Walworth, Waukesha, and Ozaukee Counties.
“We’re tracking a potential winter storm for Tuesday and into Wednesday,” says Storm Team 4 meteorologist Brian Niznansky.
“We’ll be on the fringe of the first part of this upcoming storm system tonight. There will be a slight chance for snow, mainly south of Milwaukee, late tonight and tomorrow morning. The main event snow arrives Tuesday afternoon and into Tuesday night. Snow then continues through Wednesday morning. For now, you can expect 4-8″ of total snow, with lesser amounts north and west of the Milwaukee metro area.”
