As part of his reappointment as Milwaukee Police Chief, Alfonso Morales will be hosting two community listening sessions later this month.
The first will be Wednesday, January 22, 2020 at Unity Gospel House of Prayer, located at 1747 North 12th Street.
The second will be Monday, January 27, 2020 at UMOS, located at 2701 South Chase Avenue.
Each event will run from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m., with doors opening at 5. There is limited seating and parking available at each location.
Milwaukee’s Fire and Police Commission set up the community listening sessions. Their intent is to give Chief Morales a chance to engage with residents, and present a plan on how he will use the department to move Milwaukee forward.
Those who may need accommodations to attend either of these sessions, such as an interpreter or auxiliary aids, can contact the commission’s office at 414-286-5000. Efforts will be made to accommodate as long as advance notice permits.
