The latest drug bust in southeast Wisconsin results in the arrest of a Racine County man.
The Racine County Sheriff’s Office says their Metro Drug Unit executed a search warrant October 10, 2019 at a home on the 8700 block of Mosel Drive in the Town of Burlington.
Inside the home investigators found 28.8-grams of cocaine, 7.8-grams of marijuana, 2 Vicodin tablets, a digital scale, cutting agent, packaging materials, ammunition and two handguns.
Law enforcement arrested 47-year-old Edward J. Kirk of Racine County, who was at the home, after determining he was involved in the sale of cocaine. He made his initial court appearance October 11 on charges of possessing cocaine with intent to deliver, possession of THC, keeping a drug place, possessing drugs with intent while armed, and four counts of bail jumping. He was given a cash bond of $25,000
This drug bust is the latest to take place in recent week. Those include a marijuana bust in Racine and Caledonia, and THC vaping cartridges busts in Kenosha and Milwaukee.
