Two Milwaukee Brewers players have tested positive for COVID-19, according to manager Craig Counsell.
Infielder Luis Urias and left-handed pitcher Angel Perdomo both tested positive before last week’s intake for summer camp, according to Counsell.
Both players are asymptomatic and both are currently in COVID protocols.
Despite problems with COVID-19 testing elsewhere in Major League Baseball, Counsell says it’s been going well in Milwaukee.
“Our experience with the testing has been very good,” Counsell said on Monday.
“Really on schedule… So far, so good.”
The 60-game 2020 MLB schedule is set to be revealed at 5:00 p.m. CST on Monday, July 6, 2020.
