“This was the best decision for the Packers. Aaron has been around a long time. He knows what we’re playing for. That’s what’s most important right now.”

And so former Packers’ HC Mike McCarthy gets a first-round WR in his first draft with the Cowboys.

And Aaron Rodgers doesn’t get a first-round WR or RB for the 15th straight year. Packers get his successor instead.

Early indications seem to show the Green Bay Packers may be talking about – at least with what they reportedly want the public or other teams to know – moving up in the NFL Draft, possibly the first round.
From Ian Rapoport of NFL.com:
Among the teams who have made some noise about potentially moving up in tonight’s Draft: The #Falcons, the #Jets (presumably for a tackle), the #Saints, the #Packers. New Orleans and Atlanta are always among the most aggressive.
