MILWAUKEE — What was happening inside the single engine plane carrying U.S. Rep. Tom Tiffany as it lost power? What did he see and hear in those critical moments?
Tiffany joined Wisconsin’s Midday News to describe the moments before and after the plane he was riding in crashed into Lake Wausau earlier this month – from the pilot telling him, “We’re going down,” to just 16 minutes passing before a boat rescued them in the dark. The Wisconsin gubernatorial candidate said the crash has made him “more determined than ever” to continue his campaign.
“I saw the best of Wisconsin that night,” Tiffany said. “I believe I do have the vision that will provide the leadership that will make Wisconsin one of the shining stars in America.”
Tiffany also weighed in on the war in Iran and the impact that it is having on Americans.
