Wisconsin voters will decide three proposed changes to the state constitution in November, including new limits on the governor’s partial-veto authority and restrictions on how government may consider race, sex and other characteristics.
Will Flanders, research director at the Wisconsin Institute for Law & Liberty, joined Point Taken to explain the proposals and discuss polling commissioned by WILL on two of the amendments.
Proposed constitutional amendments must pass both chambers of the Wisconsin Legislature in two consecutive legislative sessions before being submitted to voters.
