PEWAUKEE, Wis. — Schools are closed in the Pewaukee School District because of an ongoing power outage.
The district says they started the day on a two-hour delay because of a campus-wide outage. However, the timeline became more unclear for when We Energies would be able to restore power, which prompted the cancellation.
Students from kindergarten through high school will not have virtual learning, and all after-school activities will be decided later in the day.
Summer School registration is rescheduled to 6:00 a.m. on Thursday, April 15.
If families need to reach the district or the schools, it’s best to use email, since the phones are still down.
