UPDATE at 6:10 a.m. on 2/19/2026: Marquette University Police release video and photos of the suspect in an armed robbery and sexual assault near campus.
A female Marquette student reports that a man approached her at 1:55 a.m. near N. 14th Street and W. Kilbourn Avenue on February 18. He then allegedly displayed a weapon and then sexually assaulted her before she turned over property to him.
He then fled on foot going northbound on 14th Street. The female student was taken to the hospital for treatment.

Marquette University Police provide this updated description of the suspect:
- Black male with medium-to-dark complexion
- Between the ages of 20-30
- 5โ10โโ to 6โ tall with a skinny build
- Shoulder-length locks or twists in his hair
- The suspect was seen wearing a dark beige hoodie, light colored pants, white shoes, a blue hospital mask and a black backpack.

A female Marquette student reports that a man approached her at 1:55 a.m. near N. 14th Street and W. Kilbourn Avenue. He allegedly displayed a weapon and then sexually assaulted her before she turned over property to him.
He then fled on foot going northbound on 14th Street.
The female student was taken to the hospital for treatment.
Police describe the suspect as a Black man, between 20 and 30 years old, approximately 6 feet tall with a slim build, and with black braided hair. He was last seen wearing tan hoodie, blue medical face mask, black pants, black shoes.
