Pancreatic cancer takes the lives of over 47,000 Americans every year.
The latest victim- Jeopardy! host Alex Trebek. WTMJ’s Jim Peck, a former game show host, called Trebek a terrific person and host.
Since August, this is the fourth major death by pancreatic cancer in the nation – Representative John Lewis, Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg, Hall of Famer Bob Gibson and now Alex Trebek.
November is Pancreatic Cancer Awareness Month. Several buildings across Milwaukee will turn purple this month to raise awareness.
