Whitney Houston, Dave Matthews Band and The Notorious B.I.G. highlight the 2020 class of nominees for the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in a list released Tuesday.
In order to be nominated, the artist must have released its first single or album by 1994 or earlier.

-Thin Lizzy
Fans are allowed to participate in the contest and can vote for their favorites at the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame’s website.
Fan votes will be paired with the votes of thousands of artists, as well as historians, journalists, and members of the music industry.
Top vote-getters will be announced in January and will be officially inducted at Cleveland’s Public Hall on May 2nd, 2020.
