The Milwaukee Brewers reportedly sign infielder Brett Lawrie.
Milwaukee Journal Sentinel's Tom Haudricourt confirming the signing on Twitter on Saturday.
Brett Lawrie was #Brewers first-round draft pick in 2008. Traded to Toronto in Shaun Marcum in December 2010. Has not played professionally since being released by White Sox in March 2017. https://t.co/2zLGca3Ubv

The infielder also confirmed the signing on his Instagram account.
As being reported by The Athletic, Lawrie's contract is a minor league deal with a club option in 2020.
Lawrie was first drafted by the Brewers in 2008 in the first round. He was traded to Toronto in December of 2010.
Lawrie has not played professionally since 2017 before he was released by The Chicago White Sox.
