Berry picking season is here! But expect things to look a little different this year, as local farms apply extra health and safety precautions in the midst of the COVID-19 pandemic.
“They’re opening up more roads for picking, so it will be easier to stay away from other families if that’s what you want to do,” Calie Herbst of MKEwithKids.com tells WTMJ.
“Most of these places are not requiring masks, they’re recommending them, some of them have put in extra hand washing stations, many of them have put limits on how many people can be inside.”
If your family is looking for a fun summer outing, berry picking could be for you.
“This is a great family activity, especially right now because it’s outside.”
