Long before the first pitch, Milwaukee Brewers players may already be getting ready for game day in a very different chair.
Jose Perez Zamora, the Brewers’ barber since 2023, joined Point Taken to talk about cutting players’ hair before games, what the clubhouse is like behind the scenes and why he was confident enough to get a World Series tattoo before the team officially clinched.
Zamora said he typically arrives on game days and cuts hair from late morning until shortly before first pitch.
His busiest day?
Fifteen players.
“Sometimes they just come in and they just tell me, ‘Hey, I got ten minutes. Can we make it happen?’” Zamora said. “And yeah, we just make it happen.”
Fans looking to get the same barber treatment as Brewers players can find Perez Mora at Flashy Faded Barbershop in Bay View.
