Gun violence in Wisconsin extends beyond homicides and high-profile mass shootings, according to WAVE Educational Fund Executive Director Nick Matuszewski.
During an interview on Point Taken, Matuszewski described WAVE, the Wisconsin Anti-Violence Effort, as a statewide organization that works with community partners and lawmakers to prevent firearm injuries and deaths. The organization says it has advocated for gun violence prevention through education and public policy since 1993.
