For the first time in two weeks, the percentage of positive coronavirus cases increased by more than a percent in Wisconsin.
On Thursday, the Wisconsin Department of Health Services reported that four percent of all COVID-19 tests conducted over the previous 24 hours were positive. 2.6 percent of tests on Wednesday came out positive.
It is also only the second day in two weeks where the positive test percentage was more than three percent in Wisconsin.
422 of the 10,177 tests conducted in the last 24 hours in Wisconsin were positive. That is also the highest daily total of positive tests in two weeks.
Since the pandemic began in March, 23,876 people have come down with confirmed cases of coronavirus in Wisconsin. 719 of those people passed away.
