The Milwaukee County Medical Examiner’s office has released information on the people who have passed away due to COVID-19.
Lenard Wells, 69, died at Froedtert Hospital in Wauwatosa on Saturday morning.
The Medical Examiner’s report says that Wells complained of respiratory issues on Saturday, March 14. He tested positive and eventually had respiratory failure and eventually renal failure. His son was allowed to wear protective equipment to be present to him at his bedside.
Roderick Crape, 54, passed away Friday night at Aurora St. Luke’s Medical Center in Milwaukee.
Crape was taken to a hospital complaining of shortness of breath, according to the Medical Examiner. He had a 101 degree fever. A chest x-ray was performed, showing pneumonia. In the evening, he complained of not being able to breathe, and despite medical professionals’ efforts, he passed away a half hour later.
Lawrence Riley, 66, died Thursday evening at Froedtert Hospital.
He was admitted Tuesday due to respiratory failure and “altered mental state,” according to the Medical Examiner. He eventually suffered “multi-system organ failure.”
