MILWAUKEE — The Pabst Mansion was awarded a $750,000 grant from the National Park Service to support the second phase of restorations.
The money, from the “Save America’s Treasure’s” grant, will help the preservation team with the east, west, and north sides of the mansion. It will help restore over 100 windows, bricks, the roof, as well as mitigating water damage.
“This is generational and it’ll preserve that mansion for years and years to come,” says Board Chair Mame McCully.
The donation must be matched, so the Pabst Mansion nonprofit is in the process of fundraising, and the mansion is seeking community support.
