MILWAUKEE— The Brewers are getting ready for October baseball, and fans coming to American Family Field will have some new food options waiting for them.
The team and its foodservice partners are adding several new dishes for the postseason, mixing Wisconsin favorites with food from some of Milwaukee’s local vendors.
Among the new options is something called the Big Chew Burger, a double-patty burger topped with pot roast, ranch and pepperoncini. It’s also a chef-favorite.

Chef Joe Muench Executive Chef Owner of Black Shoe Hospitality says that’s his favorite, and that he’s just happy to be apart of making great memories for fans. The postseason gives the Brewers an opportunity to get more creative with what they’re serving.

“We get a lot of feedback. I think that’s the one thing the Brewers really do look at all that feedback, look at a lot of the social media, and they take that as just kind of help improve, making sure the food is consistent, the quality is there, and stuff like that,” Chef Muench said. “The Brewers have done a great job with just kind of taking ballpark favorites and adding twists to it. So us, as Chefs come in there, and we kind of just have fun with that idea of just adding twists to ballpark favorites.”
Other options include the Brat Rangoon, Oktoberfest Slice, Monkey Bread, The Dino Rib, Birria Banh Mi Dog, Birria Nachos and more.
The Brewers are also keeping the Wisco Supper Club open throughout the postseason. The stand features items including the prime rib grilled cheese, walleye with potato pancakes and applesauce, and steak fries with truffled aioli.
Tom Hecht, the Brewers’ Vice President of Consumer Experience, said the food has become an important part of the overall experience at American Family Field.

“What we’re trying to do is create some unbelievable memories,” Hecht said. “I want fans to be able to look back 15, 20 years from now and say, I was there. Obviously the biggest thing is we hope that it’s what they’re there for is what happens on the field and the team winning. But just all the pomp and the circumstance and all the things that we’re going to do pregame in the food and beverage area, we are really trying to create extraordinary experiences. And that’s the goal.”
The postseason menu also features several Milwaukee-area food vendors.
K&L BBQ is bringing back its Dino Rib, a smoked beef rib weighing more than a pound and a half. Chucho’s Red Tacos will serve Birria Nachos, while Hidden Kitchen MKE will offer a Maine-style lobster roll.
For dessert, Bebe Zito is adding a Pink Squirrel Shake, while Drip Chocolate MKE will have cake cups and boba.
Some of the new items like the Chew Burger and Birria Banh Mi Dog will be available specifically for the National League Division Series. Others will remain throughout the entirety of the postseason.
The Brewers open the NLDS at American Family Field Saturday against either the Chicago Cubs or San Diego Padres.
