WHITEFISH BAY, Wis. — Whitefish Bay police are investigating two reports of suspicious behavior involving a man who approached two girls in separate incidents Sunday afternoon.
Police say both incidents were reported around 1 p.m. Sunday and involved a man driving a small silver or gray four-door sedan.
In the first incident, police say the man approached an 8-year-old girl who was walking home, asked whether she needed a ride and repeatedly asked for her name.
In a separate incident, a 16-year-old girl told police a man matching the same description followed her and asked whether she had a TikTok account.
The man is described as heavier-set, approximately 40 to 50 years old and possibly Hispanic.
No physical contact was reported and neither girl was injured.
Whitefish Bay police say incidents involving strangers approaching children are uncommon but are asking residents to remain aware of their surroundings and report suspicious behavior.
