Milwaukee Diaper Mission is celebrating its sixth anniversary by asking the community to help more local families afford an essential expense.
Founder and Executive Director Meagan Johnson joined Point Taken to discuss the nonprofit’s annual “Big Give Back”, its largest fundraiser of the year. The organization is working toward a $50,000 fundraising goal as demand for diapers, training pants and period supplies continues to grow.
Milwaukee Diaper Mission began in Johnson’s garage in September 2020. Since then, the organization has distributed 5 million diapers and expanded from five community partners to 28 across Milwaukee.
