OAK CREEK, Wis.— Some Oak Creek-Franklin students may not have bus transportation Monday after catalytic converters were stolen from buses used by the district.
The buses are operated by Go Riteway, which is working to determine how many vehicles are available for students. Families who are able to drive their children to school are being asked to do so while the company works through the issue.
The affected buses are connected to Go Riteway’s operation in Oak Creek.
Last November, converters were stolen from 26 school buses at Go Riteway’s Oak Creek facility.
The district says it will provide more information as it becomes available.
