GREEN BAY, Wis.– Four officers were injured and one person is in custody after a driver drove into a crowd overnight in downtown Green Bay.
GBPD says officers were investigating a disturbance around 2:15 a.m. near a food truck, when a vehicle drove at them, causing one officer to fire at the vehicle.
No one was hit by the shot, and police briefly chased the driver, before he was taken into custody near North Monroe Avenue and Pine Street.
Authorities say he was arrested on suspicions of an OWI.
Four officers reported non-life threatening injuries. The officer who fired the shot has been placed on administrative leave. All involved were wearing body cameras.
