DODGE COUNTY, Wis.– An airplane was removed from a Dodge County highway after sliding off of a trailer.
According to the Dodge County Sheriff’s Office, the airplane was being transported Friday when the straps securing it failed and it came to rest in the median on Highway 151 near Oakwood Road around 4 p.m. Friday
The airplane did not crash and had neither an engine nor wings.
No other vehicles were struck and the plane was successfully removed while traffic remained open.
