MILWAUKEE– New competency reports have been ordered for Shyanna Brothers, after investigators found a dead 10-month-old baby in box in her apartment.
On August 13, 2025, police responded to a call for Brothers’ apartment over a suspicious odor, before they found her infant daughter deceased in the home.
Last week, the defense plead not guilty by reason of mental defect.
The court has ordered a new round of examinations, due to be returned on October 1.
