SHAWANO, Wis. — A suspect is on the run after Shawano police say they shot a gas station attendant during an armed robbery.
The incident occurred around 9:30p.m. September 2 at the People’s Express Gas Station (716 S. Main Street). The clerk is expected to survive their injuries.
The suspect is believed to have acted alone and had fled the scene before officers arrived. Images shared by police appear to show the suspect using a long-barreled handgun.
