WAUWATOSA, Wis. — The Wauwatosa Police Department is asking for the public’s help to identify a suspect involved in an attempted armed robbery at Mayfair Mall.
It happened Friday, July 17 at approximately 7:29 p.m. near the food court at Mayfair Mall. During the incident, the suspect pointed a gun at the victim and demanded the victim’s cell phone, according to police.
The suspect is described as a black male, 16-18 years old, 5’10”and 150lbs, with an afro hairstyle. At the time of the incident, he was wearing a black and white long-sleeve shirt, black shorts with white writing on the legs, and black and white athletic shoes. The suspect was also carrying a black backpack with a shark-teeth design on the front.
