(Update at 6:10 p.m. on 8/31/26) WAUWATOSA, Wis. — A 15-year-old was arrested in connection to the attempted armed robbery at Mayfair Mall, according to an update from Wauwatosa Police.
Police thank the public for helping identify the suspect.
Charges against the teenager are pending.
WAUWATOSA, Wis. — The Wauwatosa Police Department is asking for the public’s help to identify a suspect involved in an attempted armed robbery at Mayfair Mall.
It happened Friday, July 17 at approximately 7:29 p.m. near the food court at Mayfair Mall. During the incident, the suspect pointed a gun at the victim and demanded the victim’s cell phone, according to police.
The suspect is described as a black male, 16-18 years old, 5’10”and 150lbs, with an afro hairstyle. At the time of the incident, he was wearing a black and white long-sleeve shirt, black shorts with white writing on the legs, and black and white athletic shoes. The suspect was also carrying a black backpack with a shark-teeth design on the front.
