GREEN BAY, Wis.— The Green Bay Packers have unveiled a new “Rivalries” uniform that will make its debut against the Chicago Bears this season.
The Packers will wear the uniforms during their Week 5 matchup against the Bears on October 11 at 3:25 p.m.
The design draws inspiration from the Packers’ unique fan ownership and the team’s history of selling stock to supporters.
The uniforms feature a vintage green base with an alabaster color meant to resemble the aged paper of historic Packers stock certificates.
The jersey numbers include an engraved design inspired by the lettering found on paper currency.
The uniforms also feature the interlocked GB logo on the upper left chest and the back of the helmet. The logo is based on a version of the Packers’ logo used during the Vince Lombardi era.

Striping across the jersey, pants and helmet, along with a pattern in the jersey fabric, is designed to resemble to decorative borders found on Packers stock certificates.
The new uniform will remain part of the Packers’ lineup for three years, alongside the team’s existing alternate uniforms.
The Bears will also have a new uniform when the teams meet again in Week 16 on Christmas Day.
The oldest rivalry in NFL history continues with the Packers and Bears 214th meeting. Jerseys, helmets, and other merchandise will be available at the Packers Pro shop beginning on September 1.
