MILWAUKEE— Milwaukee police are investigating two separate shootings that happened Sunday, including one that left a 35-year-old dead.
Police say a 19-year-old was shot around 5:30 a.m. Sunday near Melvina Street and North 24th Place.
The victim suffered non-life-threatening injuries and was taken to the hospital. A suspect was taken into custody.
Later Sunday night, around 11:10 p.m., police responded to a shooting near 6th Street and Ring Street.
A 35-year-old was shot and pronounced dead at the scene.
Police continue to investigate and are looking for an unknown suspect.

These two shootings followed four separate shootings in Milwaukee on Saturday that left six wounded, including a 1 year-old child that had been in a vehicle during one of the shootings.
