MILWAUKEE — A popular downtown Milwaukee nightclub could be forced to shut its doors.
The Milwaukee Common Council Licenses Committee is recommending the license for ELMNT Lounge be revoked.
The Milwaukee Police Department filed a complaint against the nightclub near Water Street and Michigan Street. MPD says the club has been connected to multiple shootings in the downtown area.
Back in July, local entrepreneur and club promoter Antwan “Tweezy” Hogans was shot and killed outside ELMNT Lounge.
The Common Council will vote on the club’s license at its meeting November 4.
