WAUKESHA, Wis. — Waukesha Police say a suspect is in custody after a shooting Thursday night near Main Street and Wisconsin Avenue.
Authorities say a 31-year-old man fired multiple shots from inside his apartment into the walls of other adjoining apartments.
Nobody was hurt and the apartment building was evacuated.
Police say they entered the suspect’s apartment and found him with a self-inflicted gunshot wound to the leg. He was taken to the hospital to be treated.
No officers fired their guns during the incident.
