DELAVAN, Wis.– A man is dead after drowning in Delavan Lake. 33-year-old Mohammed Hussauni of Lombard, Illinois was found unresponsive on a boat just after 5:40 p.m. Saturday evening near Lake Lawn.
It appeared that Hussauni entered the water from the boat when he began to struggle and became submerged. He was wearing a life-preserver but it was too small to be effective.
He was pronounced dead at a local hospital.
The investigation is ongoing.
