MILWAUKEE — Milwaukee Police arrested a reckless driver after a chase that ended in a deadly crash on Brady St. Tuesday night.
Police officers first observed the reckless driver near North Ave. and Teutonia Ave. around 9:22 p.m. on July 29. They began pursuing the car near 12th St. and Center St.
The driver refused to stop and eventually crashed into another car near Humboldt Ave. and Brady St. A 28-year-old man driving the struck vehicle later died at the hospital and a 27-year-old passenger is being treated for injuries.
Police arrested the 22-year-old woman driving the fleeing vehicle and took her to the hospital for minor injuries.
Criminal charges will be referred to the Milwaukee County District Attorney’s Office.
