MILWAUKEE — A Milwaukee woman is accused of robbing a Pick N’ Save on 84th and Bluemound, and then making a bomb threat.
49-year-old Andrea Cloud-Jones is charged one count of making a terrorist threat and another of robbery. According to the criminal complaint, she entered Pick N’ Save and put several grocery items in her purse, including container of mixed fruit, a box of crab legs, a 10-pack of mini Fireball whiskey bottles, a bottle of pomegranate juice, and a bottle of Mountain Dew, before heading to the store’s exit.
The manager of the Pick N’ Save tried to prevent her from leaving. Cloud-Jones initially said her “family members paid for” her groceries but could not show a receipt.
When she tried to leave again, Cloud-Jones allegedly said that she was “an FBI agent” and that she had “put a bomb in the store.” She managed to leave the store by forcing her way through employees, before getting arrested in the Starbucks across the street.
She appeared in court on Thursday morning at 8:30 a.m.
