FOND DU LAC, Wis. — A 22-year-old man is dead after an early morning crash in Fond du Lac.
City of Fond du Lac Police and Fire Rescue crews responded to South National Avenue and Deneveu Circle around 3:00 a.m. on June 20 to reports of a vehicle crash involving a fire, finding the SUV fully engulfed in flames.
Fire crews put the fire out quickly, then authorities found the driver died from their injuries from the crash. No one else was found in the car.
The driver was identified a 22-year-old male Fond du Lac resident. His identity has not been released.
Police are still investigating the cause of the crash.
