WTMJ is so excited to to be partnering with the Hunger Task Force this season to provide turkeys for individuals with food insecurities.
Our campaign is called WTMJ Cares: Pass the Turkey Powered by Watry Industries and Premier Aluminum.
The Hunger Task Force, year after year, helps feed hundred of thousands of individuals around southeast Wisconsin.
And although Thanksgiving will look and feel different this year during a pandemic, we hope that every person can sit down to a turkey dinner on November 26.
WTMJ’s Melissa Barclay was at a Hunger Task Force distribution this week and met a woman who has a brilliant spirit and the gift of positivity. Delores was a senior citizen waiting in line to pick up a turkey and some other goods.
