Arrest in north side Milwaukee arson case with woman fighting for her life

Milwaukee Police say they have arrested a 26-year-old man from the city in an arson case from early Friday morning.

The fire happened near the corner of North 8th and West Cherry Streets at about 3:30 a.m. Friday.

Police say the victim is a 23-year-old woman from Milwaukee. She has life-threatening injuries and has been hospitalized.

According to police, the Milwaukee County District Attorney will receive the case in the next few days.
