WTMJ’s Wis. Morning News defines an EVERYDAY HERO as “an average Jon/Jane Doe who, when they woke up one morning, had no idea they’d be saving a life.”

In Longview, Texas: Five people are alive and well, all thanks for a 5-year-old boy named Jayden. Everyone was asleep when the fire started.
Jayden woke up to popping sounds and flames near the front door.
“He came to my room with his little blanket and told me, ‘It’s a fire,’” his aunt Lulu Craven told KVUE-TV. “I said, ‘Oh my God,’ and by that time the smoke alarm went off.”
“We call him our angel and our hero.”
Thank you Jayden for being an EVERYDAY HERO!
