DELAVAN, Wis. — First responders in Walworth County pulled a dead body from Delavan Lake Monday night.
Authorities located the body in the lake around 5 p.m. near South Shore Drive.
At this time, no foul play is suspected, and there is no concern for public safety, according to Delavan police.
The incident is still under investigation.
The identity of the individual is being withheld pending notification of family members by the Walworth County Medical Examiner’s Office.
Emergency personnel from the Town of Delavan Police Department, Town of Delavan Fire & Rescue, and the Walworth County Sheriff’s Office responded to the scene.
