WAUWATOSA, Wis.—One woman is under arrest after narrowly escaping from being hit by a train in Wauwatosa.
The incident took place Wednesday morning just after 1 a.m. where Wauwatosa Police were notified of an SUV that was stuck on the railroad tracks.
The 45-year-old woman was able to get out of her vehicle in time after she was unable to move the car from its position. The SUV was then struck by a freight train that was traveling 40 miles-per-hour.
Neither the driver or the train operator were injured from the collision.
Wauwatosa then arrested the woman under the suspicion that she had operated her car while under the influence of alcohol.
